Grilled Mojo Chicken Breasts

8 cloves garlic, minced
3 Tbsp chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
3 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme (or use 1 Tbsp dried)
1 tsp salt
2½ lb bone-in chicken breasts
Grate zest and squeeze juice from oranges into a bowl; add garlic, peppers, thyme, and salt.
Place half of marinade and chicken in a large zip-top bag. Seal bag, and turn to coat; reserve remaining marinade for basting.
Marinate chicken in refrigerator 30 minutes, turning bag once or twice.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Grill chicken 20 to 25 minutes or until done, turning and basting occasionally with reserved marinade.
Remove from heat. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
