Garlic Butter Grilled Salmon

1 ( 1½-lb) salmon fillet, patted dry
1 tsp kosher salt
½ tsp freshly ground pepper
¼ cup butter, softened
1½ Tbsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Sprinkle fish with salt and pepper.
Grill fish, skin sides down, 3 minutes. Turn fish over, and grill 2 minutes longer or until flakes with a fork. Cut fillet into serving-size pieces. Combine butter, garlic, and parsley; spread on fish before serving.
